Audi TTS 8S 4Pot Brake kit Upgrade ClubSport brake discs

The current generation Mk3 (2015+) Audi TTS sports a set of 4-piston calipers that gives the sports car excellent stopping power. The calipers’ numerous benefits over single-piston calipers and ease-of-installation onto other MQB models make them a popular modification for Mk7 owners looking to stop quicker while staying within the OEM parts family.

What are the benefits to upgrading to these brakes?

Besides offering more stopping power, these brake calipers weigh less than the stock versions, just 9.81 lbs compared to the 11.7-lb non-performance brakes and 15.63-lb performance ones. As with lighter wheels, less weight on the suspension will allow your vehicle to handle better. Because of the close relationship between cars on Volkswagen’s MQB platform, this OEM kit is more plug-and-play than big brake kits from aftermarket companies and is also comparatively cheaper.

Which VW models can this upgrade kit be installed on?

Generally speaking, the kit allows these brakes to fit on any Volkswagen/Audi MQB vehicle that uses aluminum steering knuckles. However, different parts will be required depending on if your vehicle is equipped with 312mm rotors or 340mm rotors used on performance-oriented cars. This is because the latter already features most of the parts needed for the conversion, so it needs the basic kit rather than the complete kit.
